Trades Generalist
CARPENTRY:
This position requires journey level experience in all aspects of carpentry; to include but not limited to roofing, building rehabilitation & repair, new construction. Candidate must be able to make material lists, obtain quotes and may be required to lay out and lead projects to completion. ELECTRICAL:
This position requires basic level experience of electricity and candidate must have ability to make minor repairs and modifications to diagnose and repair pumps, motors, floats and other equipment. PLUMBING:
This position requires basic level experience in public water and sewer systems. The duties include but are not limited to seasonal start up and shut down - winterization annually, basic maintenance and repairs of associated, pumps, motors and components of these systems. Additionally, duties will involve other areas of support and maintenance at facilities as directed; some of which will require DEC chainsaw certification to assist with hazardous tree removal.

Salary Range:
From $22.75 to $22.75 Hourly
Minimum Qualification
Four years of full-time experience in a trade under a skilled journey-level position which would provide training equivalent to that given in an apprenticeship program. Apprentice training in a trade or training gained by the completion of technical courses in a trade at a school or institute may be substituted for the above experience on a year-for-year basis.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
